Light bombers also . aVt'acked the railway systems throughout the Po Valley. . „ , The Balkan Air Force kept up its attacks against enemy positions and rolling-stock in Yugoslavia by striking over a widespread area. Coastal aircraft flew intruder missions in North-west Italy and west of the Po Valley the Allies flew approximately 2400 sorties. One enemy aircraft was destroyed.
