SHARP EARTHQUAKE
O.c. THAMES, this day. A sharp earthquake was felt in the Thames district at 4.20 o'clock this morning. Many residents were awakened by the shock, which was preceded by a loud, rumbling noise. A second was felt later. No damage is reported.
