TOC H CLUB ANNIVERSARY
SERVICEMEN ASSISTED
Five years ago to-day the Toe H Servicemen's Club was opened and since then just over a million men have enjoyed its hospitality. The club's main job has been to afford a temporary headquarters for servicemen. All amenities are free except the meals, which are served at low prices. At the club servicemen can have a hot shower or a wash and can leave their belongings to be collected at their own convenience. The club has provided more than 100 000 meals and handled 110,000 articles each year. Any serviceman seeking sleeping accommodation is directed to the right quarters by Toe H officials. The club is entirely selfsupporting.
