ENGINEERS CONFER
P.A. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The conference of the New Zealand Institution of Engineers was opened in Wellington to-day. It is one of the largest held, with an attendance of about 170 Government, local body and privately practising engineers. It is the first conference for some years, as the conferences were discontinued early in the war. The annual general meeting of the Professional Engineers' Association of New Zealand is to be held tomorrow.
