GUILTY OF ASSAULT
A verdict of guilty was returned by a jury yesterday afternoon in the trial of Joseph Henry Silva, aged 33, who was charged with indecently assaulting .a Maori girl of eight years of age. Accused was remanded for sentence. The trial was before Mr. Justice Callan, Mr. Cleal prosecuting and.Mr. Robinson acting for the accused.
