OUR AIRMEN...
Who once ate their lunch in the playtime, Who dodged through their lessons at school, Who swam without clothes on, in SU7II7HeV Who revelled in playing the fool. Who danced in the warmth of the evening That last supper waltz, with their girls; Who browsed in the heat, after football, With sweat glistening bright on their curls. Who leapt to the call of their country And soared on bright wings, to the sun, Who laughed, in the face of grim heavens, Then came back to post, one by one. Who fell, before unknown bullets, Undaunted, a smile on their faces. Who sleep now, in deserts and jungles, Who dream, in the ocean's deep places. , — Mavis E. Hills.
