NAVAL MEN ENTERTAINED
Nearly 200 naval personnel and their friends "were entertained at a social function arranged by the junior section of the Auckland branch of the National party in the Berkeley Theatre, Mission Bay, vesterday. It was originally planned to hold a picnic at Ferndale, but weather conditions were considered unsuitable. Items were provided by Mr. Reg Morgan and party, by civilian and naval guests and by Mrs. E. R. Greenfield. A private film screening and dancing concluded the programme.
