NEW BANK CHAIRMAN
British Official Wireless Reo. 2 p.m. RUGBY, February a. The Marquis of Linlithgow, Viceroy of IndU from 1936 to 1843, has been elected chairman of the Midland Bank. He succeeds Mr. Stanley Christopherson, the former England cricketer, who accepted the chairmanship of the board, although over eighty, until the appointment of a permanent chairman.
