HARRY BRIDGES CASE
WASHINGTON, Feb. 2
The Supreme Court has granted Harry Bridges, the Australian-born leader of the United States West Coast waterside workers, a review of his deportation order to Australia. Orders to deport Bridges from the United States date back to 1937. In June, 1944, the Circuit Court rejected his appeal against the latest order by the Attorney-General, Mr. Biddle. The Supreme Court has been hearing an appeal from that decision.
