SAILORS ENTERTAINED
British merchant seamen were entertained over the Christmas period by members of the British Sailors' Society. A party was held for the men, and, in addition, a number of outings were arranged by the .society. All overseas men attending the society mission hall received gifts of ditty bags and other comforts donated by church organisation* and branches of the Women's Division of the Fanners' Union. Many of the men attended Divine Service on Christmas Eve.
