EX-SERVICEWOMEN

TREATMENT IN CANADA A member of the women's services who has served three years in Canada will receive a gratuity of 270 dollars, rehabilitation grant of 45 dollars, and 100 dollars for clothing. She can complete her education or take a commercial course or other training, and will receive a maintenance allowance while doing so of 60 dollars a month. If, instead of this, she wishes to start in business, she can use her rehabilitation credit of 270 dollars as well as her gratuity to purchase a business. But she may decide to marry, perhaps a serviceman. Then, with the gratuities and rehabilitation credits which they both receive they will be well away to securing a new home under the National Housing Scheme or to buying a home. They will have at the very least 1080 dollars.
