Further Progress Made In London DISCUSSION OF PLANS Rec. 2.30 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 22. Further progress In the planning of British Commonwealth air routes was made as a result of conversations between Dominion representatives in London, says the Daily- Telegraph. The Minister for Civil Aviation, Lord Swinton, who presided at a special meeting, announced that advantage had been taken of the presence of a number of Commonwealth representatives who had participated in the Chicago civil aviation conference and the Montreal talks, to continue the civil aviation conversations. Mr. Sullivan, . New Zealand Minister of Supply, represented New Zealand, and Mr. Drakeford, Australian Minister for Air, and Mr. S. M. Bruce, Australian High Commissioner, represented Australia. Lord Knollys was also present. Arrangements were discussed for the constitution of a secretariat and the procedure of the Commonwealth Air Transport Council.
