IN HOSPITAL CHAIRMAN MEDICAL. STAFF "SESOIAITION At a meeting last night attended by 59 out of an estimated total of 80 members of the full visiting and resident medical staffs of the Auckland and Green Lane Hospital the following resolution was passed unanimously:— « "That this taff has always desired to co-operate with the board and to feel that the board is standing behind them. Neverthless, they consider that the chaii-man has unjustifiably discredited and besmirched the medical staff to the public. They, therefore, as a staff , z~4 a vote of no confidence in the chairman. - The meeting at which the resolution was passed was the ordinary monthly meeting of the. medical staffs of the hospitals. It as held regularly to discuss hospital matters, and has an annual election of officers. The chairman for the current year is Dr. H. W. Wilson, who presided over the meeting last night.
