ACCEPTANCES TAKEN SIXTEEN IN CHIEF HANDICAP Excellent acceptances have been received by the Avondale Jockey Club for its second spring meeting, which is to be held at Ellerslie on Saturday next. Provision will have to be made for three divisions in the Three Kings Hack Handicap and for two divisions in the Xihotupu Hack Handicap. There are 69 horses in the Three Kings Hack Handicap and 30 in the Nihotupu Hack Handicap. An alteration in the order of running of the events has been made, and the first and third races have been transposed. The Three Kings Handicap will be the first race.
