DEATH OF WOMAN
DRINK BELIEVED CAUSE
(0.C.) SYDNEY, October .19. An attractive girl of 23, Miss Gloria Edith Hepworth, is believed to have drunk herself to death while in the company of two American soldiers at Penrjth. Police have been told that Miss , Hepworth, who lived in Artarmon, Sydney, had been drinking with the Americans in Sydney. Late on Monday afternoon the party arrived at Penrith and the drinking continued. Unable to secure accommodation, the party went to the soldiers' rest room and Miss Hepworth slumped into a chair. Believing her to be asleep the soldiers again went in search of accommodation. She was discovered by Mr. J. White, proprietor of'a nearby hamburger shop, who closes the shelter each night. He called police, who found that she was dead.
