MANGONUI HOSPITAL PLAN
(0.C.) KAITAIA, 'Saturday. Advised by the Director-General of Health that the present buildings were inadequate and over-crowded, the Mangonui Hospital Board is planning a building scheme to be spread over five years at its Kaitaia institution. New facilities under consideration are a two-storey ward block containing 50 beds, a new home to accommodate 30 nurses, domestic quarters for 20 persons, men's quarters for 10, kitchen block, X-ray and operating block.
