Sir Howard Ellis, of Suva, is at the Central Hotel. Mr. A. Pello-w, chief postmaster at Wellington, will retire on superannuation at the end of this month. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Parry, was in attendance at the Ministerial Rooms at the Auckland Chief Post Office to-day. The Mayor, Mr. Allum, will leave by air for Wellington to-morrow morning to attend a National Patriotic Fund Board rinference. He will return on Wednesday.
