OBITUARY
MR. THOMAS BUNTING At one time a resident of Christchurch, Mr. Thomas Bunting has died at the age of 85. He was the founder of the brush manufacturing business of Bunting and Co., Ltd. After retiring from business, Mr. Bunting lived in the Auckland and Tauranga districts, for some years. He is survived by two sons. . ;., MR. J. C. BLAKEY
A resident of Onehunga for 74 yeane, Mr. James Carney BJakey, has died, aged 93. Born at Shotley Bridge, Durham, England, he came -to Auckland with his parents when 18 years of age. He later went into business as a master painter. Mr. Blakey is survived by two daughters. I MR. W. F. WARREX
A former Wellington and New Zealand representative cricketer, Mr. Walter Frederick Warren, died at Devonport at the age of 73. Until his retirement 20 yeai-s ago he was a warrant-officer in the New Zealand Defence Force, Permanent Staff, and for many years was stationed at North Head. Mr. Warren was a foundation member of the Waitemata Golf Club, and was also a member of the Devonport Bowling Club. He is survived by his widow and one son.
