Platform finished on to shade Poutatau and Bashful Lady at the end of. six furlongs in 1.19 3-5, the first two in 26 2-ss, -while High Play -was another AVinter Cup candidate to work impressively, running away from Tring to record 1.34 1-5 for seven furlongs, the first four in 53 1-Ss. Royal Greek drifted badly at the finish of six furlongs with High Ideal and Lenardo, the pair beating him by a dozen lengths In 1.20. Rawhamai and Silver Lily ran home four furlongs in 53 4-ss.' Seau Cheval and Baldowa were on terms at the end of five furlongs in 1.7, the first furlong in 13 4-ss. Foxleap worked alone over seven furlongs in. 1.34 4-5, the■ first three in 40 4-ss. Palfrey was a length clear of MissMedley at the end of five furlongs in 1.8 3-5, the first in 14 4-ss, while Tifox did well to record 1.6 in a similar trial, in which he was a dozen lfcigths clear of Golden "Kea. Hearth, Royal Flight and Monetary, finished at intervals in the order named over six furlongs in 1.20, the final four in 53 4-ss. Hippodrome and Foxchase took 1.23, but came home over the last half mile in 53 3-ss. Air Lord and Wise Girl ran, nicely over four furlongs in 52 3-ss, WhileWindink shaded Casilda in 52 l-ss. Quick Rise and Maid of Dunloe sprinted four furlongs "up the back in 52 2-5s and Battle Royal and Martial Note ran home in 54 4-ss. Sal's Pal was galloping easily alongside Reorapa, the pair taking 1.20 2-5 for sixfurlongs, the first two in 26 3-ss. Sky Hawk galloped solidly over five furlongs in 1.6 3-5, the first taking 14 2-ss._ Gulf Stream beat Fairy Bard by a neck at the , end of seven furlongs in 1.36 2-5, the first three in 40s. Fairy Bard broke away-in front, but Gulf Stream soon moved up. Pohuka made a better showing than Indian Sign in a run over hurdles. Indian Sign ran off at the third, but continued on to clear the fourth, with Pohuka. Albino and Boloyna were soon in front of Invincible, and they stayed there to the end of a run over six hurdles. Albino gave the best showing, though the other pair also jumped well. Boloyna will probably run in the Sydenham Hurdles. Moderate jumped four hurdles, but had little pace on. Cataract and Author's Dream went at a fast pace over four hurdles, jumping well. Desert Strife was scratched from the Paparua Handicap at 10.50 a.m. and Hard Frost from the Trial Hurdles at 11.15 a.m.
