WANTED BY NAZIS
Alleged Leader Of Conspiracy Against Hitler FORMER MAYOR OP LEIPZIG Rec. 1.30 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 1. Berlin radio, prefacing the announcement with the words, "Wanted for murder," offered 1,000,000 marks reward, the equivalent of £50,000, for information leading to the arrest of Dr. Karl Goerdeler, former Mayor of Leipzig, for conspiracy against the life of the Fuehrer. The radio added that Goerdeler disappeared after the attempt against Hitler. Reuters says Goerdeler was a close friend of Dr. Schacht,- former economic advisor to the Reich.
