OBITUARY
MB. JOHN TJRLICH Mr. John Urlich, who was well-known in North Auckland in connection with the kauri gum industry, has died at his home at Lake Ohia. Mr. Urlich arrived in New Zealand from Dalmatia in 1898, settling in Awanui. In 1905 he started a store-keeping and gum-buying business in company with a brother, Mr. S. M. Urlich. They were . later joined by another brother, Mr. I). Urlich. In later years Mr. John Urlich conducted the business alone. His wife died three years ago and he is survived by four children.
