SOUTH AFRICA'S NAVY
OVER 60 SHIPS IN SERVICE Rec. 10.30. CAPETOWN, July 31. The .director of the South African naval force in a broadcast, said the Union has more than 60 ships in commission in South African and Mediterranean waters. The personnel totals more than 7000, of which 3000 have been seconded to the Royal Navy. South Africa is now arquir. ig frigate-class British-built ships.
