COLLIER DELAYED
Heavy seas on the Greymouth bar have delayed the departure of the Kartigi, the next vessel due to arrive at Auckland with coal. Another ship carrj'ing 1750 tons of coal, which was expected to have arrived in Auckland last week, was diverted on account of the recent hold-up at the Auckland gasworks. Stocks at present held at the Auckland gasworks are sufficient \*o last until ■ Friday next.
