WOMEN'S HALF-MIJOE SWIM Rec. 9.30 a.m. WASHINGTON, July £0. Ann Curtis, the 18-year-old San Francisco swimmer, and holder of the 220 yds and 440 yds American championships, broke the women's world record for the half-mile free-style at San Francisco. Her time was 11m 8.65.
