VEGETABLE MARKETING
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The ■ annual conference of Dominion commercial gardeners to-day agreed "to offer: full support to the Government in the setting up of a council Of growers and 'departmental officers to cb-dperate in the marketing of vegetables. This decision was subject to the marketing of produce both from Government projects and commercial gardens being within the purview of the council, and that the council should exist and act for the duration of the war and for one year thereafter, after which the position should be" reconsidered.
