VISITING DELEGATIONS
TOWN HALL CEREMONY
Workmen were busy this morning at the Town Hall preparing the main hall for to-night's ceremony in honour of the visiting Parliamentary delegations from Britain and Canada. Stress in. the decorations is on native ferns and shrubs. The ceremony will be of an informal nature, and brief addresses will be given by the Earl of Listowel, deputy-leader of the United Kingdom' party, and Mr. J. G. Ross, representing the Canadian members. The Mayor and Mayoress, Mr. and Mrs. Allum, will act as host and hostess. The delegations are expected back in Auckland late this afternoon.
