AFFILIATION ISSUE
PUBLIC SERVANTS' BALLOT (0.C.) HAMILTON, Thursday. A postal ballot is to be conducted among the 1340 members of the Waikato section of the New Zealand Public Service Association to obtain the views of individual members on the proposal that the association should affiliate with the Federation of Labour. Officers elected at the meeting were: President, Mr. E. W. G. Thorpe; vice-president, Mr. J. H. McKenzie; secretary-treasurer, Mr. J. S. Mac Donald; assistant, Mr. L. T. Bramwell; auditor, Mr. W. H. Fulford.
