Shareholders ot Morris Hedstrom, Ltd., Fiji, have been advised of an. extraordinary general meeting to be held at Suva on September 14, to consider & recommendation of the directors to establish a University scholarship fund for persons wholly or partly of the Fijian race by payments to trustees of such a fund of the £ 5000 voted at the last annual meeting, and of a further £20,000 from war risk reserve. A memorandum issued by the managing director mentions that war risk reserve stands at £160,000. He did nx>t think the gift would militate against the continuance of regular dividends in the future. The amount of £127,000 carried forward in the profit and loss account was sufficient assurance in that respect.
