TRAINING FOR BRIDES
"Georgia," in Saturday's Star, writes a very sensible letter. Mv niece, who has never been out of Auckland, is to make her home after the war in a place where there is six feet of snow every winter. That surely calls for a different type of house from the kind to which she is accustomed. Then, as "Georgia" says, there is the different cooking, work, etc. There must surely be a few American women in Auckland who would be able to attend a club to talk to the poor brides and future brides, so that many pitfalls could be avoided, and perhaps heartaches saved. ANNIE'S AUNT.
