LOCAL. BODY NOTICES MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD BOARD. RATES 1944/45. Public notice is hereby given that, in P" rs H?"ad and exercise of its powers under The Road Boards Act, 1908. The Rating Act, 1925, The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 19 6 The Local Authorities Interest Reduction ana Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, The Auckland■ ® Suburb?n Drainage Board Act, 1908, and all other Acts or Amendments it thereunto enabling, tne Mount Roskill Road Board intends at its Ordinary Meeting, to be held on TUESDAY, JULY 4, 1944, at 7.30 p.m., to make and levy for the year commenced on April 1, 1944, and ending on March 31, 1945, the following rates: — (1) An Amalgamated Rate of 7 and 15-16 d in the £ upon the unimproved value of all rateable property as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force in the Mount Roskill Road District, such rate being in lieu of the following rates:—A General Rate of 4'/2d in the £ : a Separate Rate for the Hospital . and Charitable Aid Levy of 2 l-8d in the £; a Separate Rate for street Lighting of 1-I6d in the £: a Special Rate (No. 1 Conversion Loan) of in the £. (2) An Amalgamated Rate of l-8d In the £ upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Special Water Loans Area, in lieu of the following rates: —A Special Rate of l-16d in the £ (No. 1 Water Loan); a Special Rate of l-16d in the £ (No. 4 Conversion Loan). (3) A Special Rate of 2 and -l-16d in the £ upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Eastern Special Drainage Area (No. 2 Conversion Loan). (4) A Special Rate of in the £ upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Western Drainage Loan Area (No. 3 Conversion Loan). (5) Special Rates upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the areas concerned, as f follows:—Ridge Road Loan l-Bd, Queenstown and Seacliffe Roads Loan 3-16 d, £1750 Sewer I \ Drainage Loan 7d, a Special Rate to meet the Drainage Board Levy over Tyburnia Avenue Special Drainage Area V/zd. (6) Refuse Collection: A uniform fee in respect of the removal of Household refuse of 10/ per dwelling unit or habitation in the sanitation area. (7) A non-consumer's water rate upon all lands to which water can be. but is not supplied, situated within 100 yards of the Waterworks, of 5/ per assessment. (8) A uniform fee for Nightsoil Collection In the Special Area of £4. The said Rates and Charges to be Payable in one sum to the Board's Collector, Mr. J. H.
