BUILDINGS VACATED
AMERICAN NAVAL HOSPITAL
The buildings of a large American Naval hospital at Avondale, soon to be vacated, will subsequently become available for Government purposes. They consist mainly of wellappointed, prefabricated wards enclosed by enclosed passageways.
There are also about 20 houses, built to the usual State house pattern, which were for the use of officers. The hospital area contains a building apparently designed for a school, although never used as such.
It is not yet known what the Government intends to do with the buildings .
