AMENDMENTS REFUSED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. Two applications by employers to amend the New Zealand Retail Chemists' Award have "been declined by the Arbitration Court on the ground that in neither was any question of erroneous expression of the Court's intentions involved, and the Court consequently had no power to amend the award without the consent of the union. One application was for the deletion of "all" from the phrase all night pharmacy in clause 9 (D), and the otner was for the deletion of all references to managers.
