U.S. RAID ON JAPS IN CHINA
Rec. noon. CHUNGKING, May 29,
Chinese and American aircraft, in a raid on Sinyang, caught the Japanese unprepared, says General St.ilwell's communique. Barracks, installations and transport were considerably damaged and many casualties inflicted.
Fighter-bombers strafed installations at Nanchang and destroyed trucks and sampans. They also strafed the Yochow-Puchi Road, destroyed transport, damaged barracks and warehouses, and caused many casualties.
