A DRAMATIC SCENE ON THE BRIDGE OF THE BRITISH SLOOP STARLING as Captain F. J. Walker, C.8., D.S.O. and two ban, clutching a hastily-grabbed sandwich, takes a bearing on a submerging U-boat. This picture was taken by a Naval photographer who accompanied Captain Walker, commanding tie Second Escort Group, on the group's most recent and most successful anti-U-boat patrol. Three of the group's six U-boat "kills" were made within sixteen hours —a record. This group's U-boat bag is now seventeen.
