"DESERT DAZE"

PRANK BRUNO PUBLICATION Old Kiwis of 1939-43 vintage will be pleased to know that the popular scribecartoonist, Frank Bruno, whose contributions to the Diggers' Page have roused many happy memories of desert days and others, has issued in booklet form the stories he has told through the medium of this page. He has added others, too, here and there, and the booklet, with a coloured front cover in decidedly Brunoesque style, makes quite an attractive little publication. Even the old "dug-out rats" will find and amusement in the reminiscences of this modern "desert rat," clothed in brightly picturesque verbiage.
