RUGBY LEAGUE DRAW
TEN TEAMS PLAY ON APRIL 15
Ten senior teams will take part in the Auckland Rugby League's preliminary round, which will start at Carlaw Park on Saturday, April 15. In the curtain-raiser match on the No. 1 ground Otahuhu will play Point Chevalier, and in the main match on that ground Ponsonby will play Mount Albert. In the early match on the No. 2 ground City will play North Shore, and a match between Manukau and Newton will follow.
Richmond will play Marlst Old Boys at Grey Lynn Park. The chairman, Mr. J. W. Watson, said at a meeting of the Auckland Rugby League last evening that reports from the clubs indicated a good season. The nomination of Point Chevalier as a senior team in the preliminary round w&s accepted.
