Greatest Act Of Sabotage Of The War NAZI TROOP TRAIN DERAILED Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, April 3. Polish underground forces at the beginning of March carried out one of the war's greatest acts of sabotage when they . derailed a train crowded with German soldiers, killing and wounding 350. Polish circles in London received the news of the attack, which was made on the stretch of line between Lublin and Rozwadow. Handbills found amid the wreckage were inscribed "Revenge for German cruelties in Poland." - Panic-stricken survivors ran in all directions and met machine-gun fire from the Polish detachment.
