BRAVE AMERICANS
DECORATION CEREMONY
Seventeen officers and enlisted men, members of an American division now resting in New Zealand, will be decorated to-morrow for heroism and gallantry under fire. The ceremony will be held at 2.30 at the outer Domain. There will be a parade by an American regiment of veterans, all of whom took part in the New Georgia campaign. The highest award, the Distinguished Service Cross, will be presented to Captain Edward W. Murray, of the American Division.
Attending the ceremony will be the Mayor, Mr. Ahum, Major-General P. H. Bell, Mr. Hiram Boucher, the American consul, and Commodore S. D. H. Jupp.
