COMPENSATION AWARDED
An application was made before Mr. Justice O'Regan in the Compensation Court to-day by Wilfred Johnstone, farmer, Te ICuiti (Mr. Hore), for an order to end or diminish payment of £4 a week compensation to O. J. Bagnall, farmhand, Te Kuiti, who had suffered a leg injury as the result of a fall from a horse when employed by applicant in January, 1942. Bagnall had been paid £440 to date.
After having heard evidence and counsel on both sides, his Honor awarded Bagnall an additional £280 compensation, and £17 17/ costs.
