Inspection Of Invasion Defences NEW LINE CONSTRUCTED Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, Mar. 13. The German news agency reports that von Rundstedt recently inspected the German Atlantic Wall defences which are nearest the British invasion ports. He conferred with Air General Christiansen. Com-mander-in-ChiefV Netherlands, General Reinhardt, commanding the Army in the Netherlands, and General von Falkenhausen, Commander-in-Chief, German forces in Belgium and North France. A second line of defence has been constructed behind the first ready for any eventualities. The German anti-invasion command has taken into account in its plans all experiences gained from the Maginot Line, right up to the battle for Sebastopol and the Allied landing at Anzio.
