However, the lightness of the yarding prevented a reliable indication, for witn sorely depleted stocks butchers were keen to operate. Any change in the quotations, conseciuently, was in favour of tne vendors, [t was noticeable in some case* however, that more attention va» paid to plainer and cheaper types of cattle.
