Approximately 22,000 bales will be catalogued at the fifth appraisal of the current wool season opening in Auckland on Saturday and continuing until Monday. About half this cjuantity includes stocks held in store following the last appraisal m January. The appraisal party is due to arrive 'from Wanganui on Saturday morning Recent rains have not affected the clip, as most of the shearing was finished " °At the fifth appraisal last season 23,862 bales were appraised averaging 12.b0d. per lb and of a total value of £409,360. To date this season G7.SBH bales, valued at £1,309,687, have been handled.
