Continual Alert
FURTHER PEACE RUMOURS
British Official Wireless Rec. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 17. Helsinki, according to newspaper reports, is blazing to-day, after three raids during last night by Soviet bombers. The city has been in a state of almost continual alert from 7.30 p.m. to 6.30 a.m. to-day. The raids have been among the heaviest the city has yet suffered. Simultaneously there were reports that M. Paasiviki had left Stockholm for Moscow to further peace activities but a later Stockholm cable declared that he was still in his hotel there to-day.
