SHORTAGE OF POTATOES The city market is under-supplied with potatoes this week. The position is improving. Wet weather held up onions from Pukekohe. plentiful supplies arriving to-day. Both peas and beans are still selling well, provided they are of good quality. The market is under-supplied with carrots, cabbage and cauliflower. Small quantities of good quality celery are coming to hand. Choice and peaches are in pood demand. The market is still heavily supplied with plums. Passion fruit are more' plentiful.
