OFFICERS ELECTED
CHAMBER OK COMMERCE
Nominations for vacant offices on the Auckland Chamber of Commerce council closed at noon to-day, and as the number of nominations is ecjual to the number of vacancies, the candidates have in each case been declared duly elected. They are:—President, Mr. F. G. Baskett (reelected); vice-president, Mr. H. J. Lichtenstein; councillors (seven vacancies), Messrs. J. A. C. Allum, F. N. Ambler, A. M. Doull, E. O. Faber, W. Calder Mackay, A. C. Norclen and R. F. Ward. The personnel of the council remains the same, except that Mr. Doull has been elected to the vacancy'created by Mr. W. F. Fowld's inability to seek office for a further term.
