DEATH OF MOTORIST
(0.C.) WHANGAREI, Wednesday. A verdict that John Nicholas Bryce Tye was accidentally killed on the Brynderwyn deviation last Friday night when his motor car had overturned was returned by the district coroner, Air. J. G. Draper, at an inquest in Whangarei. Thomas James Roxborough. service car driver, said that at 5.45 p.m. he found a wrecked sports car standing on its wheels and the body of deceased was lying face downwards on the bitumen. Constable R. . Rimmer said that deceased's injuries were consistent with having been involved in n motor accident. Measurements showed that deceased had lost control of his car when driving on a down grade a;iC around a curve. The left front whoel had struck a 15ft clay bank, the car then capsizing and striking the bank again turning over and rolling down the grade.
