PRETTY WEDDING

WINDSOR—CRAIG

MARQUISETTE GOWN WORN

St. Matthew's Church was the scene of a pretty wedding on day, when Margaret Hendry, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Craig, of Hawke's Bay, was married to Thomas Charles, second son of Mrs. R. Windsor, of Point Chevalier. Canon R. G. Coats performed the ceremony. The bride, on the arm of her father, wore a beautiful gown with a satin bodice and full marquisette skirt appliqued round the hem and train with braided, puffed roses. She wore a shoulder-length veil and carried a white bouquet. Her sister, Mrs. Keith Johnson, of Masterton, was matron of honour; and her niece, Joclyn Daken, was flower girl. Both looked charming in full frocks of blue marquisette, and they carried pink flowers. The best man was Mr. G. Crocker, R.N.Z.A.F. A reception was held at the Parnell Rose Garden Kiosk, Mrs. Craig receiving her guests in a navy ensemble and hat to match. Mrs. Windsor was in a blue frock with wine hat. Both wore sprays of flowers.
