BUTTER RATIONING
In a broadcast last evening the deputy-Prime Minister, Mr. Nash, said the amount saved by butter rationing this year would be sufficient to give every person in Britain a ration of 2oz for two and a half weeks. Mr. Nash said that he knew that butter rationing had been accepted gladly so that the people of Britain might benefit.
