U.S. FLYER MISSING
O'HARE, OF CORAL SEA FAME Rec. noon. NEW YORK, Dec. 10. Lieutenant - Commander Edward ("Dutch") O'Hare, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour for shooting down five Japanese bombers in the Battle of the Coral
Sea, is missing in action, states a Navy Department announcement. The Associated Press says Lieuten-ant-Commander O'Hare probably is missing in the South Pacific. President Roosevelt, when presenting the Congressional Medal, said O'Hare was one of the greatest combat flyers in the history of aviation.
