REMOVAL OF WIRE
Good progress is being made with the removal of barbed wire from the lakapuna Beach, and approximately a quarter of a mile has been cleared. In many cases stakes were deeply embedded in the soil and extended into the papa rock foundation. That has made the clearing of the obstruction difficult. There is still a considerable area to clear.
